Untraveled Path
Your mouth is closed, your voice is silent,
your ears cant hear,
and your eyes seem violent.
You've seen some things,
as time goes by,
people remain fearless,
and pigs will fly.
Looking for something,
you cant see today,
keep on looking,
you might find it someday.
Close your eyes,
so you cant see,
and whenever you dream,
you'll think of me.
You'll wake up at night,
with fears that you've faced,
and the pain you feel,
can no longer be traced.
You follow the tracks,
that have been layed out for you,
a fork in the road,
and what do you do.
You've always known,
this day would come,
all before,
your journey was done.
You lay down in the grass,
and wonder which way to go,
time goes by,
and the wind will blow.
You get up and follow,
the path with the sun,
wondering the whole time,
if you chose the right one.
Days that are here,
and dreams gone by,
you look up and see,
the sun has fallen from the sky.
Face your fears,
throughout the night,
in the morning,
you'll get back your sight.
You look side to side,
to see where to go,
it's an untraveled path,
you should take it slow.
You fell your hands are tied,
with some type of rope,
because you lost,
your last inch of hope.
Around the corner,
and you'll find your way,
I always knew,
you would figure it out someday.
This path that you traveled,
did you do all you could,
i have to wonder,
it's for your own good.
