    In Time

This time away has made me,
    realize the true love,
from the land, ocean and sky,
    and all the heavens above.
    Touching your soft face,
    and holding you so tight,
I knew from the moment i saw you,
    from that very first sight.
    eyes to eyes,
    hands to hands,
i knew i always wanted to show you,
    sights of untouched lands.
    Places on this earth,
only you and i have seen,
from the perils of night and day,
    and everything else in between.
When i look up into the sky,
your the star that shines so bright,
    and your the last star,
    that falls in the night.
    Your beautiful heart,
    is love to my mind,
i know by us being together,
a better love ill never find.
    I look into your eyes,
    and can see the grace,
    the love i feel now,
    a million years couldn't replace.
I fell in love with your beauty,
and all the little things you do,
and i know in your heart,
    that you love me too.
    Whenever im away,
    ill still be near,
    think that im with you,
and you'll no longer have fear.
I know you lay in bed at night,
and dream that im with you,
i know you cant help it,
    because i do it too.
I wish i could take back,
all these nights we spend alone,
    our loving relationship,
    and how it has grown.
All i want to do is daydream,
about those nights and those days,
i can tell you how much i care,
and show you all the ways.

A romantic ode to love. You have some classic lines that define true love....Places on this earth, only you and i have seen. I love those lines, they tell of a deep love. Good job.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
