Ashley's Ashes
In time on us all,
down heaven crashes,
a little before her time,
now I'm staring at Ashley's ashes.
I see her urn down the hall,
as i fall to my knees,
I begin to shed tears,
from all the instant memories.
ever since she died,
I've been all alone,
ive been whispering to a memory,
who's never coming home.
I'm getting lost in a world,
of misleading reality and fate,
wishing she would meet me,
at the doorstep of heavens gate.
In time on us all,
down heaven crashes,
a little before her time,
now I'm staring at Ashley's ashes.
Everyday I take a trip,
down that long lonely hall,
before i reach the end,
once again to my knee's i fall.
Every night i dream,
that she is holding my hand,
taking me away,
to that heavenly graceland.
Every night through a window,
a light shines in on the urn,
and every night in that window,
a different star gets a turn.
Every night i light a candle,
and let it burn away for you,
praying to God that you can see it,
so you know my love for you is true.
In time on us all,
down heaven crashes,
a little before her time,
now I'm staring at Ashley's ashes.
