    Temperamental Dreams

    My eyes are getting sleepy,
    the nightmare's are chasing me,
iI have to keep on running,
I cant seem to get free.

I made a deal with the Devil,
and there is no turning back,
I walked the wrong way in life,
    followed the wrong track.

    I'm waking up at night,
    with these horrifying screams,
    I'm waking up at night,
    from my temperamental dreams.

    I am all alone,
in what seems to be hell,
    I wouldn't have been here,
if my soul i didn't sell.

    Blinded in the darkness,
    can't see the light,
I cant find my way out,
and cant see who to fight.

I lay in bed at night,
    trying to find a way,
    hoping and praying,
    that they will end someday.

    But still I'm waking up,
    with these horrifying screams,
    I cant get away,
    from my temperamental dreams.

I like this one, my opinion is this is one of your best. The flow, the imagery very cool and thought provoking.

ooohh creepy, but very vivid. Wouldn't want to share your dreams. This expertly rhymed poem is very frightening with a great deal of rhythm and irony. Very nice write

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
