The Front Line
Your in the front line,
fighting your own war,
facing your addictions,
then not caring anymore.
Every decision that you make,
and all the choices that you choose,
think about them clearly,
cause in the end you might lose.
Your standing in the front line,
your temptations and you,
thinking about your future,
and wondering what to do.
The strength is within you,
to turn your life around,
I'm afraid if you don't,
you'll end up in the ground.
I have to sit around and watch,
cause you told me not to interfere,
all these tears rain down my face,
only because i care.
Your disease keeps coming back,
like a cold that never ends,
it must be hard to lose your life,
hardly before it begins.
Your in the front line,
losing your own war,
casualties all around you,
and you cant take anymore.
You look side to side,
to see your all alone,
you fall to your knees and cry,
cause you know your on your own.
Your in the front line,
making your own sound,
tears now fall from heaven,
cause your no longer around.
