untill battle comes again

untill battle comes again

this old and cold war torn soul
just trying to find its way
to a place of peace that it may find
where it can finaly lay

no more battles no more wars
just a calming deep inside
let the wings of angels bring me there
where in god i may confide

let the gun shots fade and nightmares sleep
so i may get some rest
and not dream about the blood thats spilled
from under bullet proof vests

forget about the price we've paid
a dear one it has been
and let this soldier stand at ease
untill battle comes again....

Wow!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
