Hollow Eyes

Hollow Eyes

help me now
as these wrists bleed tears
let the silence come
and replace these fears

a smile unforgiving
as it sits in a Neuss
wrapped tightly on these thoughts
so they can’t get loose

with a mind not straight
suffocating these veins
as empowered thoughts
upon the razor stain

now death so sweet
as it stands on the lies
and I smile at the truth
through hollow eyes.....

I think you are very talented with words.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
