                “Peace”

     

    I felt Your Peace for a moment

    I knew everything would be fine

    In spite of everything

    You bestow it

    Your guarantee to my mind

     

    I have known a bit of Heaven

    My heart no longer rages

    For what so many are driven

    A God for all the ages

     

    Your Peace, I felt

    For a moment

    As short as the span of our days

    This life You give us to grow in

    To learn of Your Peace always

     

    In this life we are waiting

    For the joy of knowing release

    The us You are creating

    Til we are filled with Your Peace
