    Poem Commentary

    Hey we all wish to change some things I am sure.

    "Darkness"

    Darkness everywhere,

    eternal, cloying,

    natural to me,


    I am darkness,

    I am the night,

    I  might be under your bed,

    FEAR ME! 


    I am ancient, 

    from me springs despair,

    I am as,

    I was created to be,


    I simply am,

    a fact of life,

    a friend to death,

     

    I want to shake this world,

    Loose!

     

    things that bump in the night,

    grow from me,

    I am the monster in your closet,

    the werewolf at your window,

    or under your bed,

     

    by nature I am a vampire,

    my essence must feed

    on fear and pain

    evil grows with me

    I AM A FACT!
     

    a face as black

    as my soul

    cannot be seen

    I AM DARKNESS!

    Very Nice! I really liked this poem, it grabbed me and held me in it's transitions and movement. It was articulate, cold and dead on. Bravo!

    This has an energy that permeates from it, making those tiny hairs on the arms of the reader stand at attention. Powerful stuff, and an easy 10. I'm glad I came across this :)

    Wow! I am a bit surprised as I didn't have a clue as to what I would write at the time. I knew that it would be about darkness. I will be changing it here and there until I feel I've got it down the way I want it to be, It took less than ten minutes to write but I posted it anyway.. Thank you.
