    Peace

    I felt Your Peace for a moment
    I knew everything would be fine
    in spite of all I do
    You bestow it
    Your Guarantee to my mind

    I have known a bit of Heaven
    my heart no longer rages
    for what so many are driven
    A God for all the ages

    Your Peace I felt for a moment
    as short as the span of our days
    this life You give us to grow in
    to learn of Your Peace always

    The Life we are gladly awaiting
    the joy of knowing release
    the us, You are recreating
    Til we are filled with Your Peace.

    The last stanza makes my heart smile knowing we will eventually shed these broken bodies as we receive our new glorified body in heaven. That in itself is spiritual peace & contentment. Blessings, Whiskers
