"Before You"
“Before You”
Before you life was a wild unruly wind,
Without direction, blowing wherever and everywhere,
Through many lands and places,
But it was restless, unsettled, and unsettling,
Visiting many dark places,
Ever searching, never finding,
Love
Aimlessly drifting, never resting, without peace,
When you came you gathered the whirling emptiness and turned it into a calming breeze, rejoicing all within me, the world rejoicing with me,
And the darkness fled
For you I grew into goodness and wanted to make a difference,
I found peace, I found love, I found joy, I found you,
