    “Prayer”

    Dear Beautiful Father,

    Thank You for the love

    that  surrounds us

    Help me be a shining light

    as I cling to the cross of Jesus

    Teach me humility, faith, and patience

    Help me to love

    to follow the way of The Spirit

    Thank You for the friends

    who help me grow                                                                      

    as I follow You

    Lord, I ask

    that somehow

    You will soften the hearts

    of those who follow war and hatred

    let peace and love rule

    Help those who suffer

    help us all Lord

    find our way to You

    In the name of Our Gracious God

    And the loving Lord Jesus I pray.

    Amen
