“Alien Whispers”

sometimes at night I hear them calling

when distant stars are shining bright

in my mind from far-off planets

alien whispers in the night

on waves of light they speed unfettered

their soft whispers drift my way

sometimes I grasp elusive meanings

what these voices have to say

In my mind I almost see them

as I probe and hope to find

answers to the haunting secrets

of alien whispers in the night

I long to reach these far-off beings

when thoughts drift in things seem so right

I long to send some type of answer

to alien whispers in the night

they say to me, from far-off

planets

“when distant stars are shining bright

then we also hear the calling

of alien whispers in the night.”
