I Would Most Surely
I Would Most Surely
I was told in running Life’s Marathon
Someday I would happen upon
That very special prosperous place
Of God’s abundant Mercy and Grace
Where life would for a season
A time of peace where there would be reason
To the rhymes and riddles of life
That brought with them so much toil and strife
And there would be answers to mysteries
And though many would be in uncharted seas
Over the most turbulent waves I would skim
Like an unsinkable stone through faith in him
And all of his blessings I would receive
If I had the audacity to believe
In he who is called the faithful and true
Then I would most surely make it through
