Winter's Gift
We stand beneath crystal wings these days,Gazing into sapphire skies,
A diamond above us untouchable.
The wind that caresses our skin is sweet,
Sugar that thickens the air.
The sun has faded to a mellow light,
Just reaching us behind the clouds.
The snow is the smile that touches the sky,
And the heat from the fireplace is the warmth of our hearts,
The fire showing us where real beauty lies.
This winter will feel quite warm,
As your love is the gift from you to yourself,
And the snow is the gift from the sky.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
LOVE FROM NATALIE.
