Who am I?

Who am I?

Am I the daring astronaut
Flying in space?
The creative artist
Drawing someones face?
An olympic gymnast
Scoring 10s as she flies?
Who am I?

Maybe I'll write a movie,
Or discover a star,
Bake delicious cookies,
Design an eco-car,
Solve unsolvable equations,
Pilot planes across the sky,
 Who am I?

As I write words across
These pages,
Please ponder them
Both fools and sages,
For I am a poet,
That much knowledge is mine
But who else
Am I?

LOL thanks for the comment, and for clearing that up!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
