True Los ...s
Wax, wane, and let’s make love in the moonlight,
Lifelong mates, roaming free without fear,
The tender night will steal away in care,
No words have I, but still I love you more,
Wax, wane, and let me you adore,
I dreamt of you last night my love, while asleep on a sandy shore,
And felt that I’d died in my sleep and was knocking on heaven’s door,
There I met your beautiful form,
A reality you always denied,
And there we embraced and consummated the love that in life was buried by pride,
For surely as the sun had risen, not I, but you had died.
