Is not Free! Freedom!
The United States is home to me,
This country of power and might,
Where some republicans are itching for a fight,
I’m an old Man-of-War,
A sometimes Army dog,
Who can still blast the hell,
Out of an enemy’s door,
Would that peace this world could find,
And usher in God’s reign,
Because as I look upon the world,
Certainly its circling the drain,
Then there are enemies in our homes,
When our children sometimes groan,
And as parent of the child,
That sometimes makes us moan,
I stand upon the blood,
My military blood brother,
Renewing my pledge to protect this land, for heart and home and mother,
Remember that when it’s not veteran’s day,
Remember our toil and care,
Remember that freedom’s vigilance,
Tis the priceless gift we bear.
