    Alone NOT Lonely

Love me in the spring when roses bloom and robins sing,

When springs release their life giving waters,

    Perhaps I’ll find love then,

Love me in the summer when beaches find lovers and lovers find each other,

When fire meets ice in lonely hearts,

    Perhaps I’ll find love then,

Love me in the autumn season when hems fall like multicolored leaves,

And lovers become more enamored with each other,

    Perhaps I’ll find love then,

Love me in the winter seasons,

When peace is more than a rhetorical statement and hope is more than a misplaced emotion,

I know I’ll find love then.
