TOO LATE
AN ICY CLAMP COVERS MY SOUL,
AND YET NO ONE SEEMS TO REALLY CARE.
THE BURDEN OF LIFE HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL,
AND IT'S ALL MORE THAN I CAN BARE.
AS I STAND AND FACE MY DESTINATION,
I KNOW NOW THE TIME HAS COME.
MY LAST MOMENT, I'M HIT WITH REALIZATION.
AND KNOW NOT WHAT I HAVE DONE.
I STRUGGLE TO STOP MY CRASHING FALL,
BUT I'M TOO LATE, MY TIME IS HERE.
I CAN HEAR A FAINT AND DISTANT CALL,
BUT IT'S TOO LATE MY SOUL HAS DISAPEARED.
