ROMANCE IS DEAD
When I no longer hear;
"I love you!"
From your lips.
But receive it from;
A text instead.
I think it's safe to say;
Romance is,
Truly dead.
When in our current,
Economy's state.
Fast food is considered;
A romantic date.
I think it can be said;
Romance is,
Sadly dead.
When candles are only lit;
Because you didn't,
Pay the bill.
When to be happy,
You have to;
Take a pill.
When you send your love,
An Ecard.
It's plain to see,
It can't be hard.
That I can repeat,
What I said;
Romance is truly dead.
When you have sex,
In the backseat;
Instead if a bed.
When you can get married;
On the web.
I think you'll agree;
Romance is dead.
