DUSK'S PLAYGROUND
Upon dusk's playground I play
With memories of;
Long forgotten days.
That time when you can hear;
The sigh of the sun upon the;
Horizons stage.
Until tomorrows turn,
Of another page.
Memories of a late night;
Game of tag in the fading light;
Laughing freely;
With the greatest might.
With no worries except being;
Proclaimed ‘it!”
Chasing after fireflies each time;
They are lit.
With the fading heat of the
Slumbering sun.
Passing into;
Star-gazing fun.
Dusk is the best;
Time of day.
So many dusk's I've watched;
Fade away.
