STRANGERS
Yesterday,
We were strangers.
Today you are;
My friend.
I hope things stay this way;
I pray this,
never ends.
This connection that;
Draws me to you.
Something in your the words that
you write.
Speak to me too.
Your every emotion;
Poured out,
into poetic form.
Your intensity;
Hits me like a storm.
Just what is it about you,
That draws me in?
My feelings for you are hard to express.
I'm not sure where to begin.
To me you are a stranger;
No more.
I know on your shoulders;
My every sorrow,
I can pour.
You're always there for me;
giving the best advice,
You can.
Always there;
No longer a stranger.
But now you're my friend.
