TEARS OF INK
You say that you love me,
Yet, it’s in the arms of another,
You find the passion you seek.
The passion that once,
Made my knees feel weak.
Foolishly I fell for your lies,
When you promised to love me,
Answering my silent cries.
If I’m honest and accept losing this game,
I’d know I have only myself to blame.
You gave me a choice to be forever yours,
And promised me our love,
Could open new doors.
Forgive the words in this poem,
That are in smears.
For my ink,
Was made from my tears.
