    The Kiss

    Two images….

    Two hearts beating rapidly

    Slowly…

    Rhythmically

    They come together…

    Two sets of lips…

    Soft and wet;

    Wild with anticipation….

    They part..

    One ‘s lip curls

    softly about the other’s

    Gently releasing

    A tender stroke

    Of the tongue…

    Two images…

    Two hearts racing…

    Hunger abounds…

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
