The Euphoric Ascension

The Euphoric Ascension

Emulating the breath of life
You dance the hypnotic dissension
Fueled by harmonic monotones of despair
Your flame brighter with each blazing emotion
You burn until the last ember is cold

A dark being, you lay dormant,
In the offing of falter of faith
Seething desire to inhabit the soul
Tantalizing the ache of the fragile mind
You lay waiting for the heart to counter

Ah, but you are now the foolish
For heart is in union with spirit
And now self manifestation grows weary
Your flame dimming with each glowing sensation
The soul yearns for the mind to grow with heart

A light essence, inhabits body
Faith will never falter in the truth
Harmonic soprano ignites the fuel of self love
Distinguishing the manifestation of hatred
And now, I dance the euphoric ascension

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
