    Mystified by Truth

    I heard the whisper of an angel
    In the cold dark of night
    In a time of despair
    Elements of nature
    Hushed my mind and opened my heart

    Stepping out into the evening air
    I have sought out the light
    Mystified by the truth
    I succumbed to the stars
    And surrendered my forsaken soul

    Granted this one whimsical moment
    I took heed to her words
    Be gentle, kind, be true
    For your life’s transgressions
    Have been reprieved by your own conscious pain

    In an instant, I was left alone
    To face another day
    Mystified by truth
    But now self aware and
    Confident in the break of dawns new light

    What a self revealing evening you have painted in this poem where under the stars you have discovered the truth by the whisper of an angrel. A soft spoken heart felt poem absolutely beautiful. God Bless Randy

    There's nothing more divine than finding the strength to climb inside yourself and find your own inner peace. This is beautiful in it's spirituality and it's inspiring nature, Dawn. Great job :)
