Poem Commentary

Guess I was feeling a bit morbid this day.

In The End

My soul has been drowned

My heart has been broken

My steps never to be found

And never to be spoken

My fists are bloody and bound

My feelings are just a token

All my friends will surround

Cause now I go into the ground.

Lovely poem man.! Clean, structured and it's concise.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
