Biker Poem
I saw you hug your purse closer in the grocery store, but you didn't see me put $10.00 extra in the collection plate last sunday. I saw you pull you child closer to you when we passed on the sidwalk, but you didn't see me play Santa at the mall. I saw you change your mind about going into the restaruant, but you didn't see me attend the meeting to raise more money for hurricane relief. I saw you roll up your window and shake your head, but you didnt see me behind you when you threw your cigarette butt out the window. I saw you frown as I smiled at your children, but you didn't see me take time off of work to run toys to the homeless. I saw you stare at my long hair, but you didn't see me and my friends cut off ten inches for Locks of Love. I saw you roll your eyes at our leather coats and gloves, but you didn't see and my brothers donate our old coats and gloves to those who had none. I saw your fright of my tattoos, but you didn't see me cry when my children were born and I had their names written over and in my heart. I saw you change lanes and hurry somewhere, but you didn't see me going home to be with my family. I saw you complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be, but you didn't see me while changing your cd and drifted into my lane. I saw you yelling at your kids in the car, but you didn't see me pat my childs hand knowing he was safe behind me. I saw you reading a newspaper or a map, but you didn't see my wife squeeze my leg to let me know to take the next turn. I saw you race down the street in the rain, but you didn't see me get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car for a date. I saw you run a yellow light to save a few minutes, but you didn't see me trying to turn right. You cut me off because I was in the lane you needed to be in, but you didn't see me leave the road. I saw you waiting impatiently for my friends to pass, but you didn't see me, I wasnt there. I saw you go home to your family. I didnt, you didn't see me, cause I died the day you cut me off. I was just a biker, a person with friends and family. but you didn't see me.Biker Poem

- Im a biker too but what I feared most I'd be side whipped by ten wheelers on the road. What you wrote is true, most of these drivers are fuck up, they have eyes and ears but can't see or hear a lonely biker on a highway. However, these ten wheelers can see you if you're in convoy. That's make you safe.
