Completeness; In Search Of
We all stem from a single seed,
Though, our roots run deep in many directions,
We offer an array of dialect,
We are history and many complexions;
Creating a tapestry of colors, diversity, and uniqueness,
In search of that elusive desire of known as completeness
From the things we experience... happiness and pain,
Although different in character, our dreams are the same—
We all strive to capture the essence of happiness in life,
Unconsciously, we now journey in search of common ground;
And, like shadows, we’re travel on unmarked paths to that sameness—
We passionately embrace life; seeking all to behold…
Our unbridled spirits welcomes the uninhibited,
And, denounce the consequences that wait to unfold
As different as we may be… we’re only a collogue of souls
In search of our destiny—
Always believing that our tomorrows…
Will be clearer than today or yesterday,
I ask, is this a journey of chance, coincidence or circumstance?
As we each travel our own separate way—
