    A path less painful

Without a seed he grew in mother’s womb

destined to live within a mortal’s tomb.

In youth he was the net that snared the souls

whose names were written on the holy scrolls.

For love, in pain, he walked the tormented mile,

obeying the judgment of Pilot’s trial

and on his back the burden of his birth...

With this act gave the feral world its worth.

Celebrate the gift, his penance will burn

and light a path less torturous to learn.

This is absolutely fantastic. You might like to read mine titled Grace. Although not as good as yours it's about the same person.
