A Long Walk With Time
I've walked some miles and have not stopped,
Because I haven't found the spot;
I look ahead, at times look back,
I look around, I pause and start.
Then I wonder and ask myself,
Do I remember those I've met?
How many right turns did I make?
Were there left turns or some mistakes?
Of course I'm not a perfect one,
I've surely made some ugly turns;
Along the way there were bad signs,
Weaknesses triumphed many times.
I've also learned to wash the dirt
That I have gathered from my drift;
I felt remorse, cleared them with tears,
I've worn a mask and changed oufits.
What now do I intend to find?
No wish, no hope for sun to shine.
Old dreams had flown with destined line;
I'm left to drift and walk with time....
