To The Only Father I Ever Knew

Though we could not always agree and though I may not have made life so easy.

Though we may have argued or had different ideas about some things it can be seen that sometimes difference can bring out the best of things.

Though we may have found some difficulties at some points in our lives you wanted the best for me and started to strive.

Though there have been times we made each other cry always you stayed beside even though I will never know why.

Though you will not walk me down the aisle and though you may not see the birth of my child.

Though you may not ever again see me smile all the time with you was worth while.

Though I may not hear your voice, your opinion, or your choice.

Though I may get older life without you will only get colder.

Though many times I wished I was away I'd give all to bring back the only father I knew and to see how this relationship grew.

Though I would give it all to see you I know in my heart you are at rest so I prey that God will see you to the best.

Though right now it is hard I realize you were just a shard to a crystal lost and now found and this is how my frown turns upside down.

Though The days are all gone and yes it may be a while, but for now I will always remember when you used to smile.

Though I wait till we meet again I pray that you watch over all of us in Heaven.

To the only father I ever knew I just want you to know that I will always love and miss you.
