    Don't You Think?

The sweet smell of spring flowers.

    The softness of Earth.

    The feeling of freedom.

Running from problems not our own.

The sight of dawn and dusk.

    The sound of laughter.

    The fresh sent of life.

    Running to playful grounds.

A place no adult will dare to enter.

A place that we can call our own.

Better to be ourselves the princes and princesses we are.

    A time of great loving.

    A time of beauty.

Better that we think of each other as brother and sister.

    Don't you think?

i like this poem-fresh approach in a iopsy turvy world! brushed with warmth!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
