Coming Home To Heaven

I have seen Death at my bedside and they were beautiful.

A man and a woman smiling Angelically.

One on each side they both placed one hand on the shoulder facing them and the other hand side by side on my forehead with their palms covering my eyes.

"Close your eyes." the woman said.

"Dream of peace." the man said.

"A place of warmth and safety." said the woman.

"A place of happiness and beauty." said the man.

I closed my eyes and placed my hands over my heart.

I can hear the soft singing of an Angelic choir.

"Pleased you have come home to us.

You are the pure one.

Please be read for it is said you are home."

I opened my eyes with the man and woman standing behind me side by side in Heaven.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
