    The Swamp and the Swing

    Swinging in this playground over swamps
    Seeing beauty of the cypress knees and frogs at peace upon their lilly pads.
    As it darkens, I am lost into this endless swing that needs repair.
    Wanting on those lilly pads where crickets and the basics of my needs do thrive.
    Noticing this is not my home, I look for land into a haven that is dry.
    I love the beauty of the swamp, although it's secrets they're not shared with me.

    Working up the vine, I see the sun shine through the trees.

    Birds who fly ahead
    They fly away to dry land
    Where it's suitable
    In changing climate.

    The substance of this piece is eloquent. You describe the yearning for a fresh new start very well. This is a nice poem Frog! Great job.
