     Testing against the sands of time
    I feel your warmth
    And I am counting
    All my marbles in my corner
    Noting what is inside
    And the outside
    Of my circle.

    What is the strength
    Of my many shiny marbles
    How I use them
    With some scuples.

    What is yours
    And what is mine?
    What trades places
    'Cross the line.
    Where many marbles
    Do define
    Where will we go
    From here.

    There was a time I could relate to this, but I lost my marbles years ago- lol !! I like the way you wrote this. It shows a competition feel to it.
