    The Moment
    Life's so short
    And only for a time
    What can happen in an instand
    Can change everything we know

    Where am I in this stream of life?
    Am I participating,
    Or just standing against a wall?

    A gasp of air
    A breath of life
    Has life stood still
    For a moment?

    Captured in the pictures of my mind
    The fragileness of life
    Beyond all measure
    In a time I do not understand.
