My Cave
Hiding in my roomI cannot say
Exactly what disturbs me
Nerves at bay
Unlike a tide-full storm
'Look at me', you say
And I am looking
But I'm blind
And I'm still searching
For some answers
And some reasons.
So, you see
I cannot pass
Remember me
I am a child
Cannot speak
Cannot walk
And life is bleak.
Anger trembles
Watching this
Sealed in
A zip-lock kiss of shame
And torment gathered
Like a wall of stone
Recovered facing blossoms
From the past
Hungry storms that do not last
Watching over gardens
Brutal winds destroy
These empty homes
That blow away
As eyeballs watch
Beneath their glasses
Drinking wine and taking classes
Getting 'A's for many writings
But neglecting inward fightings
In our home of different colors
Inside me.
