    the real me

Im scared to let you know the real me
Im scared you shall surley flee
Im scared to let you in
    our freindship might end
they say the best thing about a person is not whats on the outside but the inside
    but I think they lied
there are so many things i am ashamed of
im afraid i might not make it to above
i have had some hard times
i have felt pain of all kinds
    you would not understand
many have tried but none can
    the real me
is not so happy and care free
so for now i think i'll hide
    in my own little mind
and just try to survive this little thing called life

in life i ahve told people i am an open book, do not ask me anything you dont want to know because i will tell all. So this poem is one that speaks to me. It says you are crying to to be known, but the little girl inside is afraid when you do you will be alone. Its ok You have a lot of talent in the way you write. keep it up

You summed me up in a poem. Thats how I feel all the time. Its hard to get out at points. Write your feelings and put yourself in every poem you write. Feelings about something makes a difference.

PLEASE BELIEVE... THE SHIT DAT MAKE YOU STREESS....BELIEVE IT OR NOT YOUR POETRY NOT JUST YOU ANY POET, IS A FORM OF EXPRESSION AND WANTS YOU EXPRESS THAT THOUGHT COMPLETELY...IT USUALLY EASES YOU... AIGHT MY MAN!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
