Fragile, Handle With Care
“ Fragile , Handle With Care”
Born in 1966 fresh from mama’s womb
Born into a family of the baby boom
So young so sweet, youngest now of five
Be careful, be gentile for he’s a newborn child
Just look at his peepers when he smiles and when he stares
Fragile, handle with care
High school came and went back ‘round 1984
Then first love and marriage with child
And then the one big sore
And his drinking caused divorce
Be careful, be quiet, he’s headed out the door
And to look into his peepers found the loneliest stare
Fragile, handle with care
It’s been many years, he’s crawled out of the bottle now
When God opened up his eyes
He lives to help others and so much to his surprise
He thinks, be grateful, be calm now and handle with care
Don’t know if YOU’VE been there
Don’t know if you’d dare
But I certainly have…so PLEASE
Handle with care
