A Wedding Toast
To the Bride and Groom, for the people whom, this toast was put together.
May you both know and your action show, that this love will be forever.
May God strengthen you, as you take two, and merge them into one.
One heart, one love, one perfect union, your new life has begun.
May you embrace, each lonely place the others heart may go,
And hold them where, in great despair, the tides toss to and fro.
Where He for She and Her for Him, is all that truly matters.
When it’s she or you, it comes down to, PLEASE don’t focus on the latter.
God made this woman for you to love, yes you and you alone.
When God began to create her, He took from you the bone.
Like Adam’s rib, you have to give, yourself to make her whole.
Your trust, your heart, your mind and body, maybe even the remote control.
And with all this she must understand the power she has been given.
Only to His Wife would he give his life, but she also must be driven .
To please this man, doing all she can, to keep him standing strong.
At the highest peak, with a ROAR in his lungs, is where this King belongs.
So pick him up and dust him off whenever he has been beat up.
And watch your tone, about the royal throne, when His Majesty leaves the seat up!
Seriously, all you must do, the both of you, is think of the other’s feelings.
You consider hers, you consider his, the results are so appealing.
God blesses your family and honors your bond and delights in you from above.
So raise up your glasses, here’s a toast from the masses, to the Bride and Groom’s undying love.
May you both know and your action show, that this love will be forever.
