You and I

You and I

I have never seen you in the flesh but I have seen you in my spirit nonetheless.

When I close my eyes I can see you clearly as though you were standing here right near me.

I have heard your voice through your written word. It was sweetest sound that I have ever heard.

Perhaps if fate would grant me grace, someday, I'll see your angelic face.

As for now I can only hope and pray that God would let us meet one day.

I love when you can hear them, through simply reading there words. brings comfort long sort after. making it all to real.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
