    A mother's ears

It is said that a mother knows the sound of her child's cry from the sound of any other's.

A skill so well honed that she can perceive the tone and distinguish between two brothers.

A day care center, school yard or public park none of these can challenge her skill.

All the more revealing of her ever determined will.

Push, Push, Breath, Push the greatest commision of all.

Prepared her ear for the sound of tears if ever her child's should fall.

So we say to all mothers (you know who you are) thank you for those precious ears.

For trusting them both night and day kept us through all of our fears.

wow. thats good. knew something about that with my mom.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
