Writing On The Walls

  • My writings are far and fewer between these days. At least I've started working on refining what I post.

Writing On The Walls

I saw the writing on the walls
And I stared until I'd read it all
No where to go but back from here
As my mind begins to break with fear
A single door to lock the world away
The black curtains can't hold sunsets at bay
Rays pour through the windows of the room
And show me the architect of my own doom
Open still, my eyes must bare witness
For the moments of my realations
The air was stale and left for dead
In this sunset moment where I sit
Left alone in my ten by ten prison
Pondering upon my own failed decisions
And the sun falls behind the black curtians
It will drag me down if I'm uncertian
I stare and see the writing on the walls
For I'm the one who wrote it all
