    • My writings are far and fewer between these days. At least I've started working on refining what I post.

    Whispering to the Wind

    What would happen
If I whispered poems into the wind
Would they get back to you
With memories of how it began

    Two complete strangers
But we were so very far from apart
    You were waiting for him
But stayed up all night to talk

We sat and gazed at the heavens
Remember the cloud and the snail
    Your eyes were shimmering
The moon made you glow a beautiful pale

    You would ask me questions
And I answered whether you liked it or not
    And neither were surprised
To the truth the morning had brought

    These memories make me smile
Though so many say "let go, my friend"
But these will be my riches
I take to the grave in the end.
