Love
Love is a figment of one's imagination
An expansion of feelings with too much exaggeration
Patiently bleeding one's soul for sensation
And dependence on another for a feeling of completion
A feeling of reanimation from stand still living
A pulse one's never felt and a compilation
Of shared thoughts and dreams to be created
And such a slip of will going undetected
In the greatest connection of hearts being mended
A dead end from the beginning
A chapter to be read without an ending
Sending shivers through nerves scattered about the body
And to far to to many, simply another hobby
'I love you's tossed about like a ship in the ocean
Without a captain only crew members left hoping
For land in sight soon before the feeling
of impending doom becomes the only meaning
difficulties shared and the burdens to be had
And if not distributed equally the barer to go mad
Sad misfortunes to put a smile on one's face
And like the setting sun
Simply gone without a trace.
