    Untitled

Staring out the window of my heart
    Gazing into the night
    Wondering what you're doing now
Battling the wars raging in my head
    Contemplating my next move
    I have to break free
Held captive in my own prison
    Enslaved by my tears
Is this my punishment for loving you
Sentenced to a life of agonizing pain
Lonliness creeps in and begins to suffocate me
Wanting you here with me is heartwrenching
Knowing I can't have you here is torture
So I go to sleep clutching my pillow tight
    Tears streaming down my face
Counting down the days until we can be together...
    As a family...once again

    Very well done, touching :)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
