Turn That Stone
I want to run like a river out of control.
I want the sounds of music to take me to my new home.
One more inch to open my soul.
One more day joins the past.
Ponder the thoughts which make it last.
Remember that song "Built To Last?"
Fly like an eagle on my own.
Keep on pushing to turn that stone.
Have you ever stepped outside to smell the air?
Have you found yourself listening and you can't hear?
Next thing you know, you don't care.
Next thing you know, you're stuck there.
Not a worry to spark in the air.
Found yourself listening, but you weren't there.
Fly like an eagle on my own.
Keep on pushing to turn that stone.
