    The Truth

You tell that man you love him with ease
But leave the second, he don’t fill your needs
Even though you have the power to make that man
    Beg please, please love me
But you don’t, you leave, you run, you flee
And left me, with broken heart on bended knee
You wounded me, almost killed me
    Left me to be me
The things I see clearly, is that you never truly loved me
    Why the travesty?
Did I scare you with my diversity?
In that I planned on a 50th anniversary
I looked pass the small stitch, in time
    Way down the line
Without knowing your heart wasn’t mine.
If love was not for me, then why you pretend
Why act as a lover, when you knew how it would end

The truth isn't as pleasant as your other writings! I've read several of your poems and I love how loving they are!

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
